WHO PROCESSES YOUR DATA?

VONIAK s.r.o. (Company ID No. 11880074, registered office at Strančická 1084/29, 100 00 Prague 10 - Strašnice, registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague, file no. C 355824), as the operator of the online store on the website www.voniak.com, is the controller of your personal data in the sense of the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR)), meaning that it collects, stores, and uses (or otherwise processes) your personal data for the purposes of conducting its business activities. The specific purposes for which personal data are processed are defined further below. VONIAK s.r.o. may also assign a third party (a processor) to process your personal data for a specific purpose and under specific rules (see further in the section: "Who Will Have Access to Your Data?").

WHAT PERSONAL DATA DO WE PROCESS?

We process only personal data that you provide to us in connection with using our services (e.g., when ordering any of our products or subscribing to content newsletters) or when entering into a contract for the use of these services.

This generally includes data that you provide when registering for one of our services:

- Password in encrypted form
- First and last name (only when necessary for a specific service)
- Contact and/or delivery address (for delivering an order)
- Profile information such as age, gender
- Phone number (for order status updates)

WHY DO WE PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

The primary reason we process your personal data is to manage your user accounts for our services, provide you with the services and products you have requested (including the administration and processing of payment for orders), and ensure and continually improve the security of our services and your data.

Additionally, we process your data for the following purposes:

- To fulfill contractual obligations (name, address, email, phone number, Company ID, VAT number, payment data, encrypted password)
- For accounting and tax purposes, and to comply with other legal obligations (name, Company ID, VAT number, address, payment data, phone number)
- To improve the quality of our services and develop new ones (profile information such as age and gender, name, email)
- To perform analysis and measurements to understand how our services are used (cookies, IP address)
- To analyze your preferences and display content tailored to your individual needs (cookies, IP address)
- To offer benefits in marketing campaigns we organize (name, email, address)
- For participation in consumer competitions we organize (name, email, address)
- To send commercial communications (you can unsubscribe from receiving commercial communications in the settings of your account) and content newsletters (email, name, phone number)
- To respond to your query submitted via the contact form (email, address, phone number)

Your personal data are processed both manually and automatically. VONIAK s.r.o. is authorized to collect, store, and use certain information via automated means, such as statistical information whenever you visit our website.

WHO WILL HAVE ACCESS TO YOUR DATA?

Your data is safe with us. We carefully select our partners who have access to your data and who are able to ensure such technical and organizational security measures that unauthorized access to or misuse of your data is prevented. Protecting your data is our priority. All our partners are bound by a confidentiality agreement and may not use the provided data for any purposes other than those for which we made them available.

Third parties that may have access to your personal data, depending on the nature of the service you are using or have used, include:

- People we provide data to for the purpose of analyzing website traffic
- People who ensure the technical operation of certain services for us or the operators of technologies we use for our services
- People who ensure the security and integrity of our services and websites and regularly test this security

Under certain clearly defined conditions, we are obliged to pass on some of your personal data under applicable legal regulations to authorities such as the Police of the Czech Republic or other public administration authorities. Personal data are not transferred to third countries.

WHAT ARE COOKIES AND WHAT TYPES DO WE USE?

Like almost every website, VONIAK also uses cookies.

HOW LONG DO WE PROCESS YOUR DATA?

We process and store your personal data for the necessary duration to ensure all rights and obligations arising from the contract, i.e., at least for the duration of the fulfillment of your order, and for the period during which VONIAK s.r.o. is obliged to store the data as a controller under generally binding legal regulations or for the period for which you have granted us consent to process it. In other cases, the duration of processing is determined by the purpose of the processing or by legal regulations in the field of personal data protection.

We process personal data for the following durations depending on the purpose:

- Contract fulfillment – until withdrawal
- Improving the quality of services and developing new ones – up to 2 years
- Performing analysis and measurements, analyzing your preferences, and displaying content – up to 6 months
- Obtaining and delivering prizes in consumer competitions – until withdrawal
- Sending commercial communications and content newsletters by VONIAK s.r.o. – until withdrawal
- Accounting and tax purposes – 10 years from the next calendar year after the service was provided
- Fulfilling other legal obligations – max. 5 years
- Processing personal data based on consent – until withdrawal
- Responding to your query – until withdrawal

CAN WE PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA WITHOUT YOUR CONSENT?

Yes, we can process your personal data without your consent, but only for the purpose of:

- Providing a service or product (fulfilling the contract between you and us, where the contract is also represented by the actual use of a particular service without the need to sign anything);
- Fulfilling legal obligations that we are bound to under generally binding legal regulations (e.g., we are required to retain operational and location data based on Act No. 127/2005 Coll., on Electronic Communications); or
- Processing necessary for our legitimate interests (e.g., for direct marketing, ensuring the security of our websites).

The possibility and legality of such processing are directly derived from valid legal regulations, and your consent is not required for this processing.

ON WHAT BASIS DO WE PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
